Cloud Architect

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, product) to define technical requirements and roadmaps.

Design and implement robust, high-performing, and maintainable software architecture solutions for web applications.

Develop backend services using Java with Spring Framework or similar frameworks.

Develop user interfaces using ReactJS and other modern front-end technologies.

Implement best practices for cloud deployment and containerization (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes).

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience is setting up Istio/Hashi Corp consul.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Stay current with the latest cloud, Java, Java-related technologies, and ReactJS technologies.

Cross-team collaboration.

Requirements
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.

Proven experience in designing and building cloud-based applications.

Expertise in Java development with Spring boot, Spring Cloud, Camunda, Kafka, or similar frameworks.

Expertise in Design Patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns, and Cloud Integration patterns.

Experience in dealing with large-scale and high throughput systems.

Strong proficiency in ReactJS (React Native, NextJS, Shared Component Libraries) and other front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Typescript).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Github CI/CD).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

A passion for learning and staying up to date with new technologies.

Bonus Points:

Experience with API design and development.

Experience with DevOps principles and practices.

Experience in Platform Architecture and Engineering.
