Accounting and Bookkeeping: 1. Day-to-Day Accounting: Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports. Maintain books of account on a day-to-day basis. 2. Banking Transactions: Handle day-to-day banking operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions. 3. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file TDS and GST returns on a timely basis in compliance with statutory requirements. 4. Bank Reconciliation: Regular reconciliation of bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. 5. Record Keeping: Maintain vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments with proper documentation for future reference and audits. 6. Accounting Software: Utilize Tally and MS Office Suite efficiently for accounting, reporting, and other administrative tasks. 7. Financial Reporting: Assist in generating financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal management review.
Audit and Compliance: 1. Audit Preparation: Work on statutory and internal audits, assisting in the preparation of required financial data and documents. 2. Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure all required documentation is accurate and provided in a timely manner. 3. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and other statutory regulations.
Additional Responsibilities: 1. Assist with the preparation and filing of any other statutory returns, such as professional tax or service tax, if applicable. 2. Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial health of the company. 3. Provide support to the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. 4. Assist in the review and improvement of accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Education: CA Inter 2. Experience: 3 years articleship + 1 year industry experience 3. Software Knowledge: Proficient in Tally and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. 4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. 5. Communication: Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders. 6. Time Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
