Job Summary: The Procurement Executive for Electronics Components is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing electronic components such as CCTV cameras, wires, firewall switches, TVs, and other related equipment. This role ensures timely procurement of high-quality components while optimizing costs and maintaining vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement and Sourcing: Collaborate with internal teams to identify requirements for electronic components. Source reliable suppliers for items like CCTV cameras, wires, switches, TVs, and other electronics. Issue purchase orders (POs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) to vendors. o Evaluate vendor quotes and proposals to select the best option based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
2. Vendor Management: Build and sustain relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms. Regularly assess supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and compliance with agreements.
3. Cost and Inventory Management: Monitor and control procurement budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Track inventory levels of electronic components to avoid overstocking or shortages. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
4. Market Research: Stay updated on trends and advancements in electronic components and related technology. Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and competitive pricing opportunities.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of POs, invoices, contracts, and other procurement-related records.
6. Quality Assurance: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure procured items meet required specifications and quality standards. Address issues related to defective or substandard items and ensure replacements or refunds.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electronics, or a related field. years of experience in procurement, specifically in electronic components like CCTV, wires, switches, and TVs. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Familiarity with electronics equipment, specifications, and industry standards. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred: Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS). Knowledge of technical specifications for electronic components.
