Responsibilities of a Linux role may include:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and systems.

Managing users, permissions, and security on Linux systems.

Monitoring system performance and resolving issues as they arise.

Automating routine tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

Managing network configuration and troubleshooting network issues.

Providing support for Linux-based applications and services.

Requirements

Extensive experience with Linux administration and operation.

Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

Knowledge of database administration and management (eg, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
