Environmental Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Environment:

1. Maintaining and updating management about Environmental legislation.

2. Maintaining records of environmental data of sample collection during the investigation of government officials.

3. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring an environmental management system based on the operation of STP, RO and Biomedical waste data.

4. Knowledge Of Waste Water Parameters, RO, Biomedical Waste and Solid waste management Handling and Treatment facility.

5. Inspecting facilities that may pose to risk of public on Environment, Health and Safety.

6. Implementation of Environmental Awareness and provide training to the HCW.

7. To conduct quarterly audit on Environmental risk assessment and hazard identification and to make corrective action according to the audit reports.

Fire and Safety:

1. Issue fire safety certificate renewal upon compliance of all the mandatory requirements

2. Ensure that all fire and life safety systems installed in the premises, working in an effective and efficiency manner.

3. Develop and recommend fire protection & safety policy for implementation for the premises.

4. Monitoring how incidents involving fire and fire alarm activation are investigated to identify problems and advise on corrective actions, and reporting these to management

5. Give bi-annual declaration that fire prevention, life safety and fire protection measures provided in the building or premises are operational, in place and in efficient working condition.

6. Carry out bi-annual emergency mock drills and maintain record of the same. During the mock drill, provide basic information to occupiers and other security/maintenance staff with respect to basic fire prevention, fire-fighting and related aspects.
