Job Title Professor / Associate Professor / Asst. Professor Reports to Director- Academics Location Mumbai
Job Purpose
The fundamental role of a faculty position is to actively contribute to the academic mission of the institution by engaging in teaching, research, and service. The incumbent will be tasked with formulating and executing a comprehensive educational teaching plan in alignment with the schools specifications. Responsibilities encompass conducting classes, offering academic guidance and counseling to students, actively participating in departmental committees, and consistently enhancing the curriculum through assessment, applied research, scholarly activities, and other relevant contributions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform their duties in the form of teaching, tutorials, practical, seminars and research work, conscientiously and with dedication.
Abide by the Act, Statute and Ordinance, Rules & Regulations of the University and to respect its ideals, vision, mission, cultural practices and tradition.
Co-operate and assist in carrying out the functions relating to the educational responsibilities of the schools and the university, such as: assisting in appraising applications for admission, advising and counselling students as well as assisting the conduct of university and college examinations and evaluation.
Assist in preparation of Session PPTs, Pre - reads/Reading material , Video Links, Reference articles, Case Studies, Additional curated content, Numerical (if applicable), Blogs, Reference news feed.
A faculty member is expected to participate in administrative, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities and such other activities assigned to them by the Dean / Director/ Pro- Vice Chancellor / Vice Chancellor as part of their duty.
Maintain accurate records of students academic standing; promptly provide final grades, attendance, and other information as required by administration.
Create educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, Term Papers Question Bank preparation etc.)
Evaluate the Assignments and supervise PG Projects submitted by the students.
Seek to make professional growth continuous through study and research;
Maintain active membership of professional organizations and strive to improve education and profession through them.
Faculty members are required to fulfill their workload as per the stipulated University norms.
Contribute to the development and revision of academic programs and courses.
Stay updated with advancements in teaching field and incorporate relevant content and teaching methodologies into courses.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to design new programs or improve existing ones.

Requirements- Education & work experience
Preferred to have a Doctoral Degree Ph.D or Pursuing Ph.D. and/or Master s Degree in relevant discipline.

Proven work experience of 5-10 years of work experience in teaching / research / significant professional experience as SME with visiting Teaching/Training exposure
Teaching Experience in Distance/Virtual Education will be added advantage.
