As a Data Scientist within the Pricing Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing pricing strategies. You will leverage your expertise in data science and analytics to develop and implement dynamic pricing models, predictive and prescriptive analysis, ultimately contributing to revenue growth and market competitiveness.
What youll do:
Dynamic Pricing Model Development: Develop and implement advanced dynamic pricing models to optimize product pricing across various channels and markets.
Predictive Analytics: Utilize predictive modeling techniques to forecast demand, market trends, and customer behavior, enabling proactive pricing adjustments.
Prescriptive Analysis: Employ prescriptive analytics to identify optimal pricing strategies based on specific business objectives and constraints.
Data Exploration and Analysis: Conduct in-depth data exploration and analysis to uncover valuable insights and inform pricing decisions.
Model Evaluation and Refinement: Continuously evaluate and refine pricing models to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
Stay Updated : Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and pricing optimization techniques.
What youll need:
Masters degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python or R, including proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis).
Knowledge of statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
Experience with data warehousing and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Passion for data-driven decision-making and a continuous learner mindset.
