About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Business Analyst with proven experience in a marketplace or e-commerce startup. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our operations to drive order volume, reduce return-to-origin (RTO) rates, and enhance delivery efficiency. You will leverage your analytical skills to identify opportunities, develop data-backed recommendations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that directly impact our bottom line.
Responsibilities:
Order Volume Growth:
1. Analyze customer journey data to identify and address drop-off points in the purchase funnel.
2. Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to optimize conversion rates at various stages
3. Develop data-driven strategies to increase customer acquisition, activation, and repeat purchase rates.
4. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement and track initiatives aimed at driving order growth.
RTO Reduction:
1. Analyze RTO data to identify key drivers and trends
2. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate RTO, such as improved product descriptions, address verification, and customer communication.
3. Work with logistics and customer support teams to optimize delivery processes and resolve delivery issues proactively.
Delivery Efficiency:
1. Analyze delivery performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with other teams to improve last-mile delivery.
3. Track key metrics related to delivery time, cost, and efficiency, and identify opportunities to reduce time to deliver.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
1. Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to derive actionable insights.
2. Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order volume, RTO, and delivery efficiency.
3. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different departments.
Requirements:
1. Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a marketplace or e-commerce startup.
2. Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to extract insights from complex data.
3. E-commerce Acumen: Deep understanding of e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
4. Data Proficiency: Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Experience with statistical analysis is a plus.
5. Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Proactive and Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a focus on achieving measurable results.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of RTO reduction strategies and best practices.
