Ensures that customer requirements are met, simultaneously understanding changing needs of customers and driving actions to satisfy those needs pertaining to quality function.
Defining long term strategy, actions and timely implementation of determined actions
Risk assessment - SWOT analysis for quality function & closure of associated actions.
Driving corrective actions against non-conformities observed during customer audits, Mfg., process audits, product audit, internal & external QMS audits & layout inspection.
Overall administration of Plant Quality Function, providing direction and support for Smooth functioning of Receiving, Process, Customer Quality
Knowledge of quality management systems and support practices. This competency includes the ability to assess performance, set strategy aligned with the business and use metrics to drive continuous improvements efficiently and effectively.

Product / Process Quality Planning
Product/Process Quality Planning (Advanced Quality Planning; AQP), the ability to strategically define the Critical to Quality elements of a product/process, and the knowledge to effectively analyze, assess and mitigate the risks associated with any potential failures.
Ability to use proven tools, techniques, and methodologies to inspect products, measure process performance, perform product verification and validation testing, and to provide feedback reporting as required. This competency is utilized within the framework of the measurement, analysis and improvement aspects of the quality management system.
