Site Reliability Engineer - IAC Terraform (7-9 yrs)

We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Azure operations, containerized workflows (Docker), and Python scripting.

The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure system reliability, automate operational tasks, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud operations to maintain highly available and reliable systems.

- Build, deploy, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and other containerization tools.

- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for site reliability engineering.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.

- Automate repetitive operational tasks to eliminate toil and improve efficiency.

- Ensure robust disaster recovery plans and processes for critical systems.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

- Design and implement monitoring solutions to improve observability and system health tracking.

- Document processes, create runbooks, and train team members on SRE practices.

Qualifications & Skills :

- 7-9 years of production engineering experience with expertise in Azure operations.

- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational workflows.

- Strong experience with Docker for containerized deployments and management.

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based tools and services (Azure App Services, Functions, etc.).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) and cloud security practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus but not mandatory.
