Manage operations and maintenance of the Chiller System for both District cooling and Retail cooling systems and other field works
Manage a team of Operations and Maintenance Specialists/ technicians in the operations and optimisation of chiller plant
Supervise all operations and maintenance processes
Track expenses for operations & maintenance
Maintain all machinery to ensure it s at working standards
Create and implement operations and maintenance procedures
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
Support the planning and management of all repair and installation activities, including contract management
Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
Implement and monitor Chiller plants service and maintenance programme
Support the preparation and execution of planned maintenance schedule and to ensure that work methods are implemented and comply with the establish standards and procedure
Responsible for the administration of Permit To Work system
Support Preventive Maintenance program
Review, analyse and implement facility enhancement and improvement works
Draft operations and maintenance performance reports as well as conduct operations audits
Ensure compliance with all the health and safety rules and regulations
Improve health, safety and environmental aspects of the company by taking all responsible steps to protect the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues and other members of the community
Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Diploma holders with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience Experience in operations and maintenance of Chiller plants (Water-cooled and air-cooled chillers and associated high side systems at plant room level) Keen interest in the District Heating and Cooling System (DHCS) business Good understanding of the technical features Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and chiller plant system
Knowledge in District Cooling System (DCS) will be an added advantage Practical experience in Energy Management System (EMS) and is conversant in local/remote control and monitoring system as well as in instrumentation Knowledge and Practical experience in implementation of ISO-50001 will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge in facilities machines and equipment Good organizational and leadership abilities with supervisory/managerial experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good awareness of Environment, Health and Safety with a strong safety mindset Willing to perform shift duty (12-hour rotating shift) at various sites Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives Role to be based out of Bangalore, Karnataka but willing to travel#LI-SF1
