Data Engineering Manager

A Data Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in designing, constructing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems and infrastructure. This position ensures that data is accessible, reliable, and optimally structured to support analytics and business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Data Modelling, Data/ Information Architecture, Metadata Management, Master Data management, Data Governance & Data Quality.
• Strong experience with designing ETL/ELT Pipelines/Data flows using Azure Data Factory and familiarity with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize data pipeline environments for performance and scalability.
• Experience of Big data approach, architectural concepts, data sourcing/ ingestion/ curation and storage mechanisms.
• Experience in analytics, data warehousing, enterprise reporting.
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to the overall architecture and design of data solutions.
• Highly skilled in end-to-end Data warehousing and BI (analytics) design / development.
• Create Design, Functional/Technical specification documentations or any artifacts needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred with 12+ years of experience in Data engineering.
• Recruit, Train and develop a team of performing data Engineers.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its components.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in complex data environments.
