The Senior Manager - Commercial Depot Operations will lead and oversee the commercial operations across all depots of KNPL in India. The role demands meticulous financial management, business analysis, and strategic infrastructure planning to ensure operational efficiency. The candidate will serve as a key link between depot operations and senior management, ensuring seamless communication, reporting, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Operations Management:
- Oversee and ensure smooth operations of all KNPL depots across India.
- Implement and maintain SOPs for commercial activities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Budget vs. Actual Analysis:
- Perform regular analysis of budgeted versus actual administrative and operational expenses.
- Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
Management Information System (MIS):
- Develop and provide accurate, timely, and insightful MIS reports to higher management.
- Ensure data accuracy and standardization across all depots.
Business Analysis & Infrastructure Planning:
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for infrastructure development and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement infrastructure projects in line with business needs.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, and operational policies.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify adherence to standards and policies.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between depot operations and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to streamline operations and resolve bottlenecks.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of commercial operations, depot management, and financial planning.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budget management.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA), B.Com, or M.Com degree is mandatory.
- 10-15 years of experience in commercial operations, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar domain.
