Job Overview:
The Centre Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the Mangaluru centre. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to manage both team and individual performances to ensure that targets are met. You will play a pivotal role in building relationships, driving enrolments, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for enrolments and revenue.
Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities by targeting potential customers and markets. Implement effective sales strategies to increase footfall and enrolments.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with students and their families to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints promptly.
Marketing and Outreach:
Work closely with the marketing team to organize local campaigns, events, and outreach activities to promote the centre and its offerings.
Team Management:
Hire, train, and mentor the sales team to improve their skills and performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing support.
Reporting & Analytics:
Track sales metrics and provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Head. Analyze data to understand performance trends and adjust sales strategies as needed.
Operational Oversight:
Collaborate with the centre operations team to ensure smooth functioning of daily activities, including scheduling, resource management, and student services.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally within the education or service sector.
- Strong understanding of the local Mangaluru market and ability to drive business in the
region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the education industry or managing a learning centre.
- Knowledge of local language (Kannada, Tulu) is a plus.
