What will you do?

Role Overview:

Curate, design and manage technical course content for Kalvium's industry-aligned undergraduate computer science program. This role focuses on solving three key problems at Kalvium.

1) Relevance and robustness of the curriculum, course content, problem sets, and assessments to the highest industry standards.

2)Structuring / student journey that systemically phases the students in picking up the necessary technical skills.

3)Farming / incorporating and managing the technical content curation program that is built on the foundation of being agile, up-to-date and built with end-user (student) feedback & outcomes in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design & Development:

1) Curate and design technical computer science courses that are aligned with industry standards and trends.

2) Develop learning objectives, engaging problems, case studies, and workbooks to reinforce key concepts.

3) Create assessments (both formative and summative) to gauge student understanding and progress.

4) Ensure continuous improvement of the curriculum by incorporating feedback from students, faculty, and industry partners.

Stakeholder Management & Program Delivery:

1) Program manage the initiative across multiple stakeholders - industry experts, academic experts, service providers - content development, internal product / engineering / delivery teams, mentors on campus among others.

2) Monitor key academic data points / feedback / student outcome across campuses to provide insights that enhances the courses.

3) Plan and oversee internal training and certifying all on-campus mentors on the technical courses that they will deliver.

4) Audit program delivery to ensure adherence to program structures, schedules, assessments, and technical session delivery as expected.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor interns or junior employees who assist with content creation and program management tasks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

Experience:

1) 4+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or academic program management, in computer science or technical domains.

2) Proven experience in creating technical coursework, workbooks, and assessments.

3) Strong project management experience with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.

Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of key areas in computer science (e.g., algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases) and experience working in or with the tech industry.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills with a knack for managing teams and stakeholder inputs.

Tools: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and project management software.

Location, Timings, and Pay

Location: In-office in Bangalore. This role will involve travelling, as needed, to Kalvium's campuses.

Timings: 6-days a week, 9 am to 6.30 pm
