Plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor sales activities within a specified geography, product line, or market segment to achieve established sales targets.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Sales Management:
Develop equipment and service sales budgets and plans, activities, processes and resources and campaigns Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information, and by understanding market trends.
Financial Management:
Prepare sales and service sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas
Sales Operational Excellence:
Manage the operational activities of a sales and service for an assigned geography, product line, market segment, or particular customers.
Quotation and Tender Management Order Processing on ERP
Coordination with Service Manager on equipment commission and customer onsite training Prepare monthly sales and pipeline and forecasting Reports
Manage customer visit to the factory
Project Management:
End to end project management on Project won from quotation, customization, production to delivery Managing customer request of product drawing
Customer Management:
Identify, Research, Contract prospective customers and establish alliance partners to create new business opportunities for growth in the assigned area in the form of future sales and repeated business
Build strong relationships with customers for business growth.
Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
Relationship Management:
Conduct regular visits and communication with customer to nurture a strong relationship and to stay attuned to customer feedback including competitive knowledge, and follow up the leads on any new or expansion requirements.
Agent Management:
Develop contacts and establish good relationship with Agent to expand market penetration Annual assessment of Agent performance
Marketing:
Work with Marketing Department to map out the marketing strategies to meet the market needs
Innovation:
Develop overall proposal of new concepts/solutions and products needed to better serve a market or a segment and make preliminary surveys on the needs and implications;
Market Profiling and Analysis
Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
Attend International Exhibitions to gather market and competitors information and Identify prospective customers Develop strategies and action plan for the respective countries
People Leadership (only when applicable)
May lead sales and service sales representatives on the operational aspects of the organization's products and services and internal procedures.
Adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team

Education Degree in Business/ Engineering or equivalent
Preferred Career Experience Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Cargo Management Industry
