SST Planner

Job Overview: As an Planner at our leading EdTech company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational content and curriculum for Senior Secondary classes. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive study plans, creating engaging and interactive learning materials, and ensuring the alignment of our educational products with the latest curriculum standards.

Your expertise in Social Studies and teaching methodologies will be instrumental in creating a seamless learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts and educational content

developers to design, review, and enhance the Social Studies curriculum for Primary and

secondary school.

2. Study Plan Creation: Develop well-structured and detailed study plans that outline the learning

objectives, weekly schedules, and activities for students, taking into consideration their

academic needs and learning abilities.

3. Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging, and interactive educational content, including

text-based materials, multimedia presentations, videos, quizzes, and assessments, that align

with the curriculum and educational standards.

4. Educational Research: Stay updated with the latest educational trends, pedagogical

advancements, and curriculum guidelines to ensure the content is relevant, accurate, and up-to-

date.

5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of the educational content,

ensuring its accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness in delivering key concepts to students.

6. User Experience: Work closely with the product development team to improve the user

experience of our educational products, considering user feedback and implementing

improvements.

7. Assessment Design: Design formative and summative assessments that effectively evaluate

students' understanding and knowledge retention, and provide insights to improve learning

outcomes.

8. Teacher Training: Collaborate with the Teacher Training team to provide guidance and support

in implementing the ENGLISH curriculum effectively in classrooms.

9. Data Analysis: Analyze data related to student performance and engagement to derive insights

that inform content enhancements and improve learning outcomes.

10. Professional Development: Continuously enhance your subject knowledge, pedagogical skills, and understanding of new teaching methodologies through workshops, seminars, and self-

learning

Qualifications and Skills:

• A postgraduate degree in Social Studies, Education, or a related field. A B.Ed. degree would be

an advantage.

• Proven experience in teaching Social Studies at the Senior Secondary level (Classes 11 and 12) in a school or educational institution.

• Strong understanding of curriculum development, educational content creation, and learning

assessment methodologies.

• Proficiency in using technology for content creation and delivery, including multimedia tools,

Learning Management Systems (LMS), and educational software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts

in a clear and concise manner.

• Strong organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple

tasks effectively.

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Passion for education, innovative teaching methodologies, and staying updated with the latest

developments in the education sector.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the development of EdTech products or digital learning materials.

• Familiarity with the national and international curriculum standards for Social Studies at the

Senior Secondary level.
