Senior Chartered Accountant

Our company is a leading real estate developer seeking an experienced Senior Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and taxation and Company Law with experience in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements, in compliance with IFRS, Indian GAAP, and RERA.

2. Taxation: Manage direct and indirect taxation matters, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes, specific to the real estate industry.

3. Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth and strategic objectives.

4. Audit and Assurance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Financial Analysis: Perform complex financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions, including project viability, funding requirements, and investment analysis.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and RERA.

7. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of accountants and finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

2. Experience: Minimum 15-24 years of experience in accounting, finance, and taxation, preferably in the real estate industry.

3. Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements specific to the real estate industry.

- Proficient in accounting software.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to lead and manage teams, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Age: 40 to 50 years.
