Job Description
- Design and develop WordPress websites based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to achieve desired functionality and appearance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Collaborate with designers to implement website layouts, graphics, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of websites.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on WordPress websites, including theme and plugin updates, security patches, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, including website errors, performance problems, and compatibility conflicts.
- Monitor website performance and implement optimizations to improve speed, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Provide technical support to clients or end-users regarding website functionality, troubleshooting, and content management.
- Create and manage website content, including pages, posts, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and implement best practices for website visibility and ranking.
- Ensure proper organization, categorization, and tagging of content for easy navigation and searchability.
Experience: 6 months - 3+ years
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, DNS configurations, front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS).
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git/JIRA.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating WordPress development projects is a plus.
