We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Surveyor with expertise in transmission surveying in hilly terrain, prop setting with leg extension, and handling of total station. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and precise surveying support for our engineering and construction projects, ensuring the successful execution of complex transmission line projects in challenging terrains.
Responsibilities:
- Transmission Survey Expertise: Utilize your specialized knowledge and experience in conducting transmission line surveys in hilly terrains, including identifying route alignments, establishing boundary points, and conducting topographic surveys.
- Prop Setting with Leg Extension: Demonstrate proficiency in prop setting with leg extension techniques, ensuring the accurate and stable placement of surveying equipment in challenging terrain conditions to maintain precision and reliability of survey data.
- Total Station Operations: Perform precise measurements and data collection using total station equipment, ensuring the accuracy of survey data for critical aspects of the construction process, such as alignment verification, elevation monitoring, and as-built surveys.
- Survey Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development and implementation of survey plans for transmission line projects, including conducting pre-construction surveys, establishing control points, and providing accurate measurements for the layout and construction of transmission infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that surveying activities align with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols while performing surveying activities to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years experience.
- Proven experience in surveying for transmission line projects, with a focus on hilly terrain and prop setting with leg extension techniques.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining total station equipment, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, geodetic calculations, and land surveying practices, particularly in challenging terrain environments.
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding conditions, including hilly and rugged terrain.
