Roles & Responsibilities :-
Design and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy that drives user
engagement, customer retention, and revenue growth through personalized, targeted
email campaigns.
Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails,
product launches, and lifecycle marketing flows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart,
win-back campaigns).
Strategically segment customer data based on behavior, demographics, and purchase
history to deliver personalized email content that resonates with different customer
personas.
Continuously run A/B tests on subject lines, content, layouts, and send times to optimize
email performance and improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
Set up and maintain automated email workflows and nurture campaigns that guide
customers through the buying journey, from awareness to post-purchase engagement.
Track and analyze key email marketing KPIs (open rates, click rates, conversion rates,
unsubscribe rates, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make
data-driven decisions.
Work closely with the design, content, product, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive
messaging, alignment with eCommerce goals, and an exceptional user experience.
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations maintain clean email lists, and stay
up-to-date with the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
Oversee the use of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Salesforce
Marketing Cloud) and collaborate with IT or CRM teams to ensure seamless integrations
and data flows.
Requirements:
○ Minimum of 8 - 15 years of experience in email marketing, with at least [2-3]
years in a strategic role for an eCommerce business.
○ Strong expertise in EDM strategy, automation, and lifecycle marketing.
○ Proficiency in email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
○ Experience with A/B testing tools, Google Analytics, and CRM systems.
○ Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
Strong ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions, with a proven track record
of improving email marketing performance.
A creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about content, design, and
customer engagement.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure campaigns are flawlessly
executed.
