Jr Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Assistance & Supervision:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating site activities and labor teams.
• Support the senior site engineer in ensuring the construction is carried out as per the project design and specifications.
• Perform regular site inspections and report on progress and issues.

2. Technical Support:

• Assist in implementing technical drawings and plans on-site.
• Help with the measurement of materials, tools, and equipment for construction.
• Support in troubleshooting technical issues that arise on-site.

3. Material Management:

• Assist in ensuring that materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet the project schedule.
• Help keep track of material usage to avoid wastage or shortages.

4. Health & Safety Compliance:

• Assist in implementing safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to senior engineers.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily logs of site progress, including work completed, materials used, and any challenges faced.
• Prepare progress reports for senior engineers or site managers.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the construction quality meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Report any discrepancies in quality or workmanship to senior engineers.

7. Communication:

• Communicate effectively with workers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Follow instructions and report updates to senior engineers or project managers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in construction or site engineering (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, construction management software, and basic engineering principles.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address challenges or site issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, on-site role.
• Primarily site-based with the possibility of travel between different sites.
• May require working on weekends or evenings depending on project deadlines.Role & responsibilities
