Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
1. Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of software developers, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.
2. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the resources and tools needed to excel in their roles.
3. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions to nurture individual growth and career progression within the team.
4. Capacity & Capability growth & retention; build a passionate team with culture of innovation; align with Organization transformation initiatives
Project Planning and Execution:
1. Oversee the full lifecycle of software development projects from initial concept to deployment and maintenance.
2. Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
3. Develop project plans, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Technical Strategy and Architecture:
1. Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for our software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability.
2. Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to support development efforts, maintaining a focus on innovation and efficiency.
3. Champion best practices in software design, coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies to uphold quality and reliability.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
1. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery or quality, and proactively mitigate them.
2. Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical guidance to resolve complex technical challenges or production issues effectively.
