About the Role :

As an SDE-3 Backend Developer, you will be a key technical leader, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust backend systems.

You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and drive technical decisions.

- System Design : Design and architect scalable, resilient, and performant backend systems.

- Development : Develop backend services using Node.js and MongoDB.

- Cloud Infrastructure : Work with AWS to deploy and manage infrastructure and services.

- Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

- Best Practices : Adhere to software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.

- Deep understanding of MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and indexing.

- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and cloud infrastructure.

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of serverless computing.

- Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis).

- Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
