We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of our Same Day/Next Day Delivery (SND) services.
This role involves driving sales, acquiring new clients, and nurturing existing relationships to ensure business growth.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in logistics and last-mile delivery, a deep understanding of the delivery ecosystem, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer value in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute robust sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for SND services.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify, engage, and secure new clients while fostering strong relationships with existing customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
Market Expansion:
- Explore and capitalize on opportunities in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, and healthcare that heavily rely on SND services.
Pipeline Management:
- Maintain an organized and actionable sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure timely deal closures and accurate revenue forecasting.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and product teams to guarantee seamless service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
Negotiations & Contracts:
- Lead high-value negotiations, establish mutually beneficial agreements, and secure long-term contracts with clients.
Performance Monitoring:
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, analyze performance metrics, and present progress reports to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales within logistics, transportation, or last-mile delivery, with a strong focus on Same Day/Next Day services.
- In-depth understanding of the delivery ecosystem, including current trends, challenges, and competitive dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and generating reports.
- Ability to work independently and within teams, showcasing a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Established network in key industries like retail, e-commerce, and healthcare, which frequently use SND services.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and diverse client demands.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and develop innovative sales strategies
