ITHENA - Quality Assurance Engineer - Manufacturing Domain (2-5 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst engineer to join our dynamic team in the Pune office.

Our developer must have knowledge of all stages of development.

You will work alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various technical implementations, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software applications meet quality standards.

- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools; work closely with developers to facilitate resolution.

- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback.

- Participate in the review and improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve testing practices and tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Required Skills :

- Basic understanding of manual testing techniques and processes.

- Manufacturing domain experience (MES, OEE, Lean Manufacturing).

- Knowledge of at least one automation testing tool (e.g, Selenium, Cypress, playwright.)

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Basic knowledge of programming languages like JS, Java, Python for automation purposes.

- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and scripts.

- Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman is a plus.

- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
