Sap Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the APAC rollout of the SAP GlobalNext implementation, overseeing the deployment for at least one country.
• Run and validate simple tests in SAP AP & AR to ensure correct tax calls to the Onesource Tax Determination (OITD) system.
• Summarize and document test results for AP & AR transactions, ensuring they are in a format ready for functional review by relevant teams.
• Analyze key input and output XML elements in the tax call process, identifying their significance and ensuring proper integration of tax data.
• Work closely with functional teams to ensure all tax-related processes are working as expected and meet business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget and resource allocation, while managing project risks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful integration of OITD with SAP GlobalNext and the smooth rollout across the APAC region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to resolve any issues related to tax determination or system integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• SAP GlobalNext implementation experience, with direct experience working on at least one countrys implementation.
• Ability to run tests in SAP AP & AR, verifying the correct tax call to Onesource Tax Determination (OITD).
• Strong experience summarizing test results for AP & AR transactions and preparing them in a format suitable for functional review.
• Solid understanding of the XML elements involved in tax calls, with the ability to identify and interpret key input and output elements.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders for a successful SAP rollout.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly summarize technical information for both technical and functional audiences.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical, functional, and business teams during the implementation process.
• Familiarity with tax technology and how it integrates within SAP systems (such as Onesource).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in APAC region rollouts for SAP implementations, with knowledge of regional tax and business requirements.
• Expertise in OITD integration with SAP and understanding the nuances of tax processing.
• Background in functional review preparation and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
• SAP certification in relevant modules such as SAP FICO or SAP AP/AR.
