Software Developer 2 (Backend)

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and deploy scalable applications.
• Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
• Work extensively with cross-functional teams across various departments.
• Collaborate with business teams and project managers to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Take charge of end-to-end feature development, from proof-of-concept to production deployment and support.
• Build reusable and optimized code for future use.
• Communicate project status effectively and timely, highlighting potential risks upfront.

Tech Stack & Required Skills

• Proficient in Java and JEE with in-depth expertise in Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Config, AOP concepts).
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in designing and developing scalable systems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (event streaming), Redis (caching), Elasticsearch (search indexing), and message brokers.
• Strong understanding of database systems, including PostgreSQL (PSQL), and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration is a plus.
• Knowledge of security aspects such as OAuth and JWT authentication mechanisms.
