Key skills for the job
Drive, develops, manages and evaluates new products and/or solutions, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, ensuring the competitiveness of existing products. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace.
Develops new investment products or re-engineers current products to meet client needs. Develops product solutions that create cost-efficiency, functionality and creativity and meet the needs and wants of defined markets. Oversees product life-cycle management. And manages current products and ensures they meet client needs., in addition to close involvement with the business unit. Oversees product development life-cycle management.
You will direct, help plan and coordinate activities, while supervising a team of engineering managers. The role will involve juggling people management, project management and technical knowledge to deliver the right product, the right way. You will get to know the specs well (duties), build a roadmap (planning and scheduling), negotiate and allocate resources (people, budgets, tools), make sure the result (tracked performance) meets the specific product needs (company business goals), debug and update (unblock and support engineers) stakeholders.
As an Associate Director in the Digital wealth engineering org, you will primarily be involved in:
Lead a large product development area with company-wide impact and are responsible for end-to-end Product Delivery for the same.
Manages cross functional teams to ensure the offerings meet customer needs and are economically and technically viable.
Brings external thought leadership to bear in client environment, identifies potential impacts, and applies knowledge to offering development and technology strategy.
Analyze internal systems and recommend enhancements to improve productivity.
Increase delivery efficiency through cost reduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product initiatives
Develop a deep understanding of our users: their problems, their needs, their desires. Contributes to the overall product development by successfully managing the expectation of stakeholders across teams.
Employs data-backed product development methodology to improve user experience.
Demonstrate the understanding of modern development frameworks and technologies in your day-to-day interactions with developers & QA engineers. Constantly analyses the product performance against ROI, KPIs, and other metrics and is driven to improve performance.
Apply management skills to align staff activities with department objectives.
Apply risk mitigation and management methods.
Drive product adoption and alignment across the company to trust your suite of solutions as a source of truth.
Headcount Planning and Hiring and work on team productivity and metrics.

Excellent, precise communication skills, being able to clearly identify problems at hand and with explanations to be provided.

The Experience You Bring
15+ years of software development or testing experience.
8 to 10 years of experience as a project or program manager for software products, software engineer or other allied technical roles.
Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Experience in working with global product and leadership teams (UK, US)
Experience in building software teams that comprise of varying staffing models
Good knowledge and technical skills in the .NET Core 2/3 , C# and ASP.NET WebAPI
Good communication skills
Proven work experience on Kanban / Agile framework
Academic requirements
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
