About the position :
Job Position Summary :
- Gathering market intelligence
- Techno-commercial discussions with customers
- Analysis and forecasting of trends / markets and competitor analysis
- Coaching / guiding / mentoring the sales workforce and making sure that the sales targets are met
Key responsibilities :
- Creating segment wise list of potential customers to visit
- Making cold calls to listed customers & existing customers
- Meeting right people/ decision makers at customer to understand the existing/upcoming projects
- Sharing preliminary product information to user team of customers
- Involving Application team to identify right product / specifications for that machining application
- Preparation of quotes / machining proposals &passing it to the customers
- Submitting the offers/ proposals to customers
- Interacting with customers to get feedback on submitted offers through personal visits / through joint visits with sales engineers / application engineers
- Finding the right relevant information of the project, competition, budget and time line through networking
- Interacting with principal for specifications, delivery, terms&price
- Payment collections, LCs & order execution
- Supporting service team during installation/ commissioning based on need
- Importantly BRIDGE between customer, Principal / OEM & Service team
- Gathering market intelligence
- Analysis and forecasting of trends / markets and competitor analysis
Skills and Knowledge required :
- Good communications skill in English / Hindi & local language
- Technical knowledge of type of CNC machines, Machining applications & Quality parameters
- Reaching the right decision makers in minimum time to have better grip on projects
- Good relationship building with user department/purchase/ customer consultants to push our products and customer contacts in that defined area/ cities
- Good understanding of machining process
- Good product knowledge regarding construction of machines, specifications and competition
- Good techno –commercial skills / negotiation skills
- Good presentation skills
- People management and leadership
