Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Roadmap Development
- Strategic Planning: Develop and own the product roadmap for our EPC software, WMS, and related aftermarket solutions, aligning product development with business objectives, market demands, and customer needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer feedback collection to define new product features, improvements, and enhancements.
- Business Goals Alignment: Ensure product development aligns with company goals, supporting both short-term and long-term growth objectives.
- Prioritization: Use a data-driven approach to prioritize features and improvements based on customer impact, business value, and feasibility.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- End-to-End Product Ownership: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including planning, development and post-launch support.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead product enhancement initiatives to improve user experience, product reliability, and performance for EPC software, WMS, and other aftermarket products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.
- AI Integration: Identify and lead AI-driven innovation in areas such as intelligent search, predictive maintenance, automated workflows, and data analytics within EPC and WMS platforms.
3. Customer Engagement & Feedback Loop
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs, challenges, and pain points are clearly communicated and addressed in product development.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, customer success) and external stakeholders (OEM clients, industry partners).
- Customer Feedback: Establish feedback loops with customers to capture insights and drive product iterations. Engage with OEMs to understand their requirements and guide them through product adoption and optimization.
4. Industry Leadership and Domain Expertise
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, including regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitor movements, to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the aftermarket software industry.
- Product Knowledge: Be the internal expert on EPC, WMS, and other aftermarket software solutions, providing guidance to teams and ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- AI in Aftermarket: Lead efforts to integrate AI and machine learning into our products, improving customer service, parts cataloging, warranty claims processing, and more.
5. Cross-Functional Team Leadership
- Team Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers and other team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Agile Methodologies: Utilize Agile principles to ensure the product development process is efficient, flexible, and iterative, allowing for quick adjustments based on market feedback and evolving customer needs.
Key Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Strong understanding of business processes related to product management experience, with a strong focus on Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), Warranty Management Software (WMS), Dealer Management System and other aftermarket software solutions.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated success in managing B2B SaaS products, particularly in the automotive, construction, agriculture or related OEM industries.
- AI Integration: Must be well versed in identifying, Implementing AI use cases in software products, especially within the aftermarket service and parts domains
- Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience working with Agile development teams and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of software development, particularly in EPC, WMS, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with senior leadership and clients.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to make informed, data-driven product decisions.
- Customer-Centric: Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into actionable product features.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
