Assistant Controller & Senior Internal Auditor

We are looking for smart, motivated and independent individuals to join our team at Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal. at our Kolkata Office.

(1) ASSISTANT CONTROLLER & SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

This is a senior-level position reporting directly to the CFO and the owners.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Full ownership of accounting, finance, reporting, and compliance of India subsidiary.
2. Review payroll preparation and oversee disbursement.
3. Evaluate internal control risks, both organization-wide, and by projects, departments, and functional areas.
4. Develop a comprehensive internal audit system for the Kolkata operations and the Group.
5. Oversee taxes, GST, MCA, RBI matters, and other, financial and non-financial, regulatory affairs.
6. Advise Directors and Group CFO on financial matters, process improvements, risk, cost savings, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
7. Assist and carry out administrative functions as and when required.

• QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be a CA or CFA (preferably full, or advanced level with senior-level experience).
2. 5-10 years of solid experience with a reputable CA firm or organization with demonstrable leadership and experience.
3. Super proficient in Excel and spreadsheets. Super proficient in Excel and spreadsheets. Proficiency with Tally or QuickBooks is a plus.
4. Excellent communication, both verbal and written. High proficiency in English is a must, as the candidate will closely interact with foreign branches, draft SOPs, in charge of high-level internal and external communication, etc.
5. Transparency and reliability in communication and deliveries is a must.
6. Experience with export-oriented BPO organizations or local subsidiaries of foreign companies is a plus, but not a must.

This is a WFO (Work From Office) position out of the IIMI facility at Eco Space, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal.
