Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented Junior Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. As a Junior Engineer - Instrumentation and Control, you will be responsible for supporting the design & Detail engineering of instrumentation and control systems in oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the design and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas processes
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems in Oil & Gas projects
- knowledge and experience in selection & sizing of instruments, Technical Bid evaluation, MR, Datasheet and specification preparation
- knowledge of control system software and hardware, such PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI
- Assisting senior engineers in design & detail engineering of Instrumentation & control system for various projects
- Shall be familiar with industry standards such NEC, IEC and Canadian standards.
- Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Team Lead
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Instrumentation / electronics Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
