Job Description
We are looking for a creative and talented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing websites for our clients. You will work closely with our development team to ensure proper implementation of website designs, adhere to brand guidelines, and optimize user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing websites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure design concepts are seamlessly integrated into the final product.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct website usability testing and implement feedback to improve user experience.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies.
- Maintain and update existing websites to ensure they remain visually appealing and functional.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) and other design tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for design implementation.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.
Preferred:
- Experience 2+ years with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that websites adhere to SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with usability testing methodologies.
- Experience in designing for mobile platforms.
