Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans for web applications built on the PERN stack.
2. Perform various types of testing: Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance, and Usability Testing.
3. Identify, log, and track bugs to closure
4. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate backend services.
5. Automate repetitive test cases using tools
6. Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility.
7. Test database functionalities and write SQL queries to verify data integrity

Key Skills:
1. Familiarity with the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js).
2. Proficiency in testing tools
3. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
4. Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation in PostgreSQL.
5. Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
6. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, types, and processes.
7. Experience in both manual and automated testing.
8. Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
