Job Description

Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Site Quality function for Wind Energy Projects.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing quality-related activities across multiple sites, and coordinating with various stakeholders to drive excellence in installation, commissioning, and overall project execution.

- Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement and enforce quality processes across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Documentation & Approvals:

- Prepare and obtain client approval for quality documents related to Wind Energy Conversion (WEC) equipment, installation, and commissioning.

Site Quality Management:

- Oversee quality activities related to foundation casting, acceptance, and client clearance.

- Ensure compliance with all quality parameters during installation and commissioning.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Collaborate with multiple functions, including manufacturing plants, supply chain management (SCM), vendors, suppliers, and contractors, to resolve quality issues in supply and execution.

- Work closely with the client to certify WEC equipment, foundation work, installation process, and commissioning of wind turbine generators (WTG).

Quality Audits & Inspections:

- Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks across multiple wind farm sites.

- Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

BOP & Execution Oversight:

- Supervise Balance of Plant (BOP) activities and ensure quality compliance.

- Manage quality-related concerns across multiple project sites to maintain seamless execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (BE/B. Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

- 18+ years of experience in leading site quality activities within the wind energy sector.

- Proven expertise in inspection, audits, installation, erection, and commissioning of wind farm sites.

- Experience providing technical support to business development teams.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and best practices in the wind energy sector.

- Ability to handle multiple sites and ensure quality compliance.

- Proficiency in handling quality-related documentation and client approvals.
