About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for Software Development Engineer-III (Backend) to build the most amazing product experience. You ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful feature experience to understand and solve our customer s pain points.

A Day in the Life

Design and lead the development of various AI products
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Data Scientists, and Other Engineers to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
Write clean, efficient, modular and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
Work with development teams to build tools for repeatable data tasks that will accelerate and automate development cycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and stability.
Contribute to the overall architecture, design, and development of the backend and frontend (including micro-frontends) stack, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility of the system.

What You Need

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3-5 years of professional experience in developing large scale applications with focus on both backend and frontend.
Primary: Strong understanding of Python, Django, FastAPI, MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
Secondary: Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, Git, HTML, and CSS.
Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and modern frontend frameworks like React (with Redux).
Understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive web design principles.
Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest and writing testable code.
Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly debug and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines.
Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset to make informed decisions.
Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks, and actively contribute to technical discussions.
