Techno-Functional Consultant - Peoplesoft (3-12 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Techno Functional Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will leverage both your functional expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and technical proficiency in PeopleTools to deliver seamless PeopleSoft solutions.

You will work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure the successful design, implementation, and support of PeopleSoft FSCM modules, focusing on Order Management, Billing, Project Costing, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Management (AM), and General Ledger (G

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Fit/Gap analysis to understand client requirements and determine where customizations are needed.

- Analyze and document keep/drop decisions, ensuring that both business and technical requirements are met.

- Conduct impact analysis of compare reports to assess the effects of system changes and upgrades.

- Provide deep functional knowledge in PeopleSoft FSCM modules including Order Management, Billing, Project Costing, AR, AP, AM, and GL.

- Act as a liaison between functional teams and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into PeopleSoft functional design specifications.

- Use PeopleTools including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, BI Publisher, and PS Query to design and develop PeopleSoft solutions.

- Work with Integration Broker to facilitate the integration of PeopleSoft with third-party applications and other systems.

- Develop and manage Excel to CI, File Layouts, and batch processing to support integration requirements.

- Perform troubleshooting for complex application and interface issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate fixes.

- Provide post-implementation support and resolve any production issues related to PeopleSoft FSCM modules.

- Proactively monitor and resolve issues in the PeopleSoft environment, ensuring optimal system performance.

- Experience in working with PeopleSoft implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring smooth transitions between system versions.

- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment activities, including performance tuning and data migration.

- Assist with system configurations and provide guidance to functional teams on best practices for configuring PeopleSoft modules.

- Manage PeopleSoft application security, ensuring proper access controls and user permissions are implemented.

- Conduct regular audits and reviews of user roles and profiles to ensure compliance with security standards.

- Work with business users and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical design solutions.

- Create clear and concise functional design documentation and technical specifications to guide development.

- Maintain and update project documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure accurate reporting and tracking.

- Adhere to PeopleSoft best practices for development, configuration, and implementation.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest PeopleSoft FSCM and PeopleTools updates, ensuring the system utilizes the most efficient and reliable features.

- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM modules, specifically Order Management, Billing, Project Costing, AR, AP, AM, and GL.

- Proven experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 and corresponding PeopleTools (8.58 and 8.59) versions.

- Proficiency in PeopleTools including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, BI Publisher, PS Query, Integration Broker, Excel to CI, and File Layouts.

- Experience in scripting and automation using PeopleCode to meet business requirements.

- Experience in PeopleSoft application security configuration and management.

- Ability to translate customer requirements into PeopleSoft functional designs.
