Front End Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented front end developer to join our
growing team. In this role, you will take the designs created by web designers
and use a mix of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to get the website designs
coded. You will work closely with various members of this organization to play
a key role in the successful launch of websites and applications.

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Develop new user-facing features
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
4. Create prototypes, mockups, and staging sites for review and feedback
5. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
6. Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
7. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills
1. 1+ years in a front end development role
2. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, and various content

4. Should be familiar with converting PSD files using HTML, CSS Knowledge
of WordPress will be beneficial
5. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript
frameworks, including jQuery
6. Working understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page
updates, and AJAX
7. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or
perform small adjustments on an
8. image Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
9. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways
to work around them.
10. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will
adhere to them
