Job Description
- Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance eCommerce platforms and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive architectural decisions, ensuring the adoption of best practices, modern frameworks, and technologies to enhance platform reliability and performance.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, code quality guidelines, and development best practices to improve efficiency and maintainability.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution, risk mitigation, and alignment with business requirements.
- Build, mentor, and retain top engineering talent while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Optimize eCommerce systems for high availability, security, and compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.
- Partner with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure robust monitoring and incident response strategies.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the eCommerce industry to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
