Key Responsibility Areas:

Design & Development of APIs using REST & JSON.

API transformation (XML, JSON, SOAP etc.) configuration.

API Management configuration on Google Apigee Platform.

Setting up API Policy Security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), Customization (XLS/XLST), Threat Protection, TLS/SSL.

Setting up API Cache/Message Policy etc.

Apply best practices applicable for API development on APIGEE Edge/X platforms.

Write API specs using Swagger (2.0) Open API 3.0.

Troubleshooting design/development flaws and system bottlenecks.

Monitor application performance and identify the architectural changes to improve the performance.

User/Role Management.

Handle Admin /Analytics/etc.

Monitoring Alert /Error /Performance/Tracing etc.

CI/CD.

Qualifications:

At least 4+ years of APIGEE experience.

Strong Hands-on knowledge on APIGEE DEVELOPMENT.

API Developer Portal understanding.

In depth knowledge on APIGEE architecture, components and concepts.

In depth knowledge on configurations, proxy development and deployment.

Strong Hands-on knowledge on DataPower/API Connect.

Strong understanding on security model, Oauth concepts.

AAA policies and Crypto configurations.

Knowledge on programming using XSLT, XML, Gateway scripts.

Swagger or OpenAPI 2.0 documentation Desirable skills.

Knowledge/coding experience in the following: JavaScript, Node.js.

Knowledge with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ADO Soft Skills.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Strong skills to effectively interface with client and other stake holders.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
