Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database design, data modeling, and cloud technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with data modeling tools, advanced SQL skills, and familiarity with modern databases and platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and reporting needs.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and developers to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions.

- Optimize and maintain existing database systems and data models for performance and efficiency.

- Utilize data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner or Erwin to create and document data models.

- Work with cloud technologies, including Snowflake and Microsoft Azure, to support modern data architecture needs.

- Implement database solutions across platforms like Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop Hive, and Snowflake.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformations, and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience in database design and data modeling.

- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like PowerDesigner or Erwin.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.

- Proficiency in at least one database technology such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop Hive, or Snowflake.

- Advanced SQL skills with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.

- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

- Certification in Snowflake or Azure technologies is a plus.
