Purpose of the Position:
- Create phenomenal value for our global clients using Advanced Analytics & Data Science. Achieve this by leading high-caliber team(s) of analytics professionals, providing them with the right blend of guidance & independence. Ensure high levels of talent density in the firm and nurture our unique culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Lead client interaction and be the face of the firm for the client. Understand client context & priorities, question status-quo, present findings & recommendations, incorporate feedback, co-create solutions, brainstorm opportunities, develop client trust, and in-general be the go to person for all analytics-related client conversations.
- Analytical Delivery: Be the final owner of analytics delivery. Create analytical road map for the engagement, bring first-principles thinking, provide guidance to the team, ensure error-free work, recommend appropriate methodologies, and provide flawless project management.
- People Leadership: Provide apprenticeship and coaching to team members, including sharing context and experience, giving frequent feedback, creating growth opportunities, and helping team members shine.
- Organizational Development: Assist with recruitment activities, provide inputs into Learning and Development, be a change agent & identify internal innovative area, assist leadership with sales pitches, etc.
Experience and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology/ Economics/ Commerce/ Statistics or Postgraduate with MBA from a top institute/ university.
- Minimum of 4 years of Core Analytics experience. Some experience in leading analytics teams is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in managing large datasets (using tools such as SQL, SAS, etc.), developing statistical models (using SAS, Python, R etc.), performing analyses using Excel (Pivot Table etc.), and presenting ideas (using PowerPoint). Some exposure to BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.) will also be relevant.
Professional Skills:
- Analytical & structured thinking mindset.
- Comfort with questioning the status quo.
- Willingness to travel to client locations and build trusting client relationships (expect ~1 international trip every quarter).
