Merchandiser - Hard Goods

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and product development teams to conceptualize and create innovative hardgoods collections.
• Identify and source new suppliers and manufacturers that meet quality, compliance, and cost standards.
• Ensure products align with brand guidelines,
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from product sampling and development to production and delivery.
• Track and ensure timely approvals of samples and pre-production items analyse cost structures and negotiate competitive pricing without compromising quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• English: Fluent, written and spoken
• 8-10 yrs experience in hard good sourcing/ merchandising profile
• Strong awareness of the market in tendencies, competitors, pricing policies, etc
• Sound knowledge of materials and qualities of home decoration products
• Pro-active attitude
• Adaptable and flexible, adjusting to multiple demands
• Embodies the highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
• High ability to work independently and within deadlines
• Strong communication and presentation skills
