iMerit - LIDAR Engineer (10-12 yrs)

Job Title : Lidar Engineer.

Location : Bangalore.

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced, hands on Lidar Engineer who will help the Engineering team in their various efforts.

iMerit works with multiple clients who are spread across the spectrum in developing ML and AI solutions.

iMerit uses ML/AI to automate and improve the quality of the productized services that we offer to our customers in the data annotation space.

The iMerit Engineering team is at the forefront of developing various automation solutions across different industry verticals, technology domains and data modalities.

Required Skill :

- Graduate degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on 3D point cloud processing, multisensor fusion, and calibration.

- Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and JavaScript.

- Deep expertise in Lidar technology, point cloud processing algorithms, and 3D geometry, with extensive practical experience in Lidar data processing and analysis.

- Proven track record in sensor fusion techniques, including successful integration of data from Lidar, cameras, IMU, and other sensors, with mastery in calibration data integration.

- Extensive knowledge of different camera models and calibration methodologies, including intrinsic and extrinsic parameters, gained through hands-on experience.

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for object detection, segmentation, and classification in 3D point clouds is desirable.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions and decision-making processes.

- Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Experience working in Agile development methodologies is preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical talent within the team.
