Vmc Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Oversee the setup, calibration, and operation of Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to ensure smooth production operations.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and lead a team of machine operators and technicians, ensuring that production targets and safety protocols are met.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize production costs.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to VMCs, ensuring that machinery runs at peak efficiency and minimal disruption.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure parts are manufactured in compliance with specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and collaborate with the quality control team to resolve defects.
• Preventive Maintenance: Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce machine downtime and extend the life of equipment.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with production planners and other departments to manage production schedules, resource allocation, and shift planning.
• Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of machine performance, production metrics, maintenance activities, and team performance. Provide regular updates to management.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, including the efficient use of materials, tools, and machine resources.
