We need injection Moulding Designer.Responsibilities:
Product Design Analysis: Analyze product designs and determine feasibility for injection molding production. Identify potential design issues that could affect moldability and manufacturability. Suggest design modifications to optimize the molding process and product quality. Mold Design and Development: Design injection molds using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring dimensional accuracy and adherence to engineering standards. Develop a comprehensive mold design that includes mold components (gates, runners, cores, cavities, etc.) and considers factors like material flow, cooling systems, ejection mechanisms, and parting lines. Perform mold flow analysis to optimize runner design, gate placement, and wall thickness for balanced filling and minimal shrinkage or warping. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure the mold design meets all functional and production requirements. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts through drawings, reports, and presentations. Mold Design Documentation: Prepare detailed mold design documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, and assembly instructions. Develop and maintain a bill of materials (BOM) for all mold components. Additional responsibilities may include: Participating in mold prototyping and testing processes. Troubleshooting mold design issues and implementing corrective actions. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in injection molding technologies and materials.
