Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned VP - Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with 20+ years of experience in HR leadership within the US healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in aligning HR strategy with business goals, driving organizational change, and providing strategic HR support to senior leadership. This role will require a strong understanding of healthcare compliance, regulations, workforce management, and talent strategies to ensure business success in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support IKS Health's goals, addressing healthcare-specific challenges such as talent acquisition, retention, development, and workforce planning.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, providing consultative HR guidance on organizational design, succession planning, performance management, and talent development to improve business performance.
- Healthcare Compliance and Regulations: Ensure HR practices align with US healthcare regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, FLSA, and ACA, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Change Management: Lead HR-driven transformation initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, and workforce restructuring, in alignment with the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Design and implement programs that foster employee engagement, retention, and a culture that aligns with IKS Health's values and healthcare industry trends.
- Talent Management: Oversee recruitment and retention strategies for key roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on critical talent pipelines such as clinical, operational, and administrative positions.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through HR initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare laws regarding non-discrimination and equal opportunity.
- Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Lead the development of competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with the healthcare market, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while attracting and retaining top talent.
- HR Analytics & Metrics: Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and present HR metrics to the leadership team to track the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience: 20+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 10 years in the US healthcare sector.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare Expertise: Strong knowledge of US healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and workforce challenges within healthcare organizations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading HR teams, influencing C-suite leaders, and managing large-scale organizational changes within the healthcare domain.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to align HR strategy with IKS Health's business objectives, with a focus on delivering measurable business results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong experience in using HR metrics and analytics to drive business decisions and process improvements.
Preferred Skills:
- M&A Experience: Experience in leading HR due diligence and integration processes during mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry.
- Technology Savvy: Knowledge of HR technologies and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, employee engagement platforms) to drive HR efficiency.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in navigating complex healthcare environments.
