.Net Developer - C#/VB (6-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code using .NET languages (C#, VB.NET).

- Develop, test, and deploy new software applications and features.

- Maintain and enhance existing software applications.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Upgrade, configure, and debug existing systems.

- Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement security measures to protect applications and data.

- Provide technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications.

- Diagnose and resolve application issues reported by users.

- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical guidance.

- Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications.

- Set expectations and prioritize features throughout the development life cycle.

- Ensure user interface is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets accessibility standards.

- Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting.

- Ensure seamless integration between different applications and systems.

- Write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.

- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and performance.

- Implement unit tests and other quality assurance measures.

Requirements :

Essential Skills :

- Strong proficiency in .NET development (C#, VB.NET)

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles

- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)

- Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills :

- PowerShell scripting

- Experience with automation tools (e.g, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

- Experience with application support processes

- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
