Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Design and Development:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to the automation test framework.

2. Test Execution and Reporting:

• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure application quality.
• Report and track bugs in a structured manner using bug-tracking tools.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements, specifications, and potential risks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

4. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging tools/technologies in automation.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.

5. Documentation:

• Create and maintain clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Key Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (manual and automation).
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages, such as Java, Python, C#, Type Script or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, REST-Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab,GitHub,  Bitbucket pipelines) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Fluent English

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
